Who we are
Hydra Futures is Astrid Bradley, sole proprietor (KVK 42116756), based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. Contact: hello@hydra-futures.com.
What data we collect
Contact form — name, email address, and whatever you write in your message.
The Future Positioning Read (taster) — your name and email, your answers to the positioning questions (including any optional notes), the people/groups you name as stakeholders, and — only if you choose to provide them — your LinkedIn URL, another website, or anything else you'd like considered.
We do not collect payment or financial information directly through the website. Payment for the Future Positioning Session is arranged directly between us after booking, currently by invoice.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential engagement — legitimate interest in running our business, and/or your consent in submitting the form.
- To prepare for a diagnostic call, including reviewing your public professional presence (e.g., LinkedIn) if you've shared it — legitimate interest, limited strictly to preparing for a conversation you've requested.
- Your Future Positioning Read answers are reviewed personally before any follow-up — nothing about you is processed by fully automated decision-making with a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Who we share it with
- Netlify (our website host and form-processing provider) receives and stores form submissions on our behalf, as our data processor.
- Google Analytics (GA4) processes anonymized/pseudonymous usage data — such as which pages you visit and whether you complete the Future Positioning Read — but only if you've accepted cookies via the banner. This is separate from the personal data described above; GA4 does not receive your name, email, or form answers.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- If our services later involve AI-assisted research tools as part of preparing your deliverables, any such processor will operate under the same confidentiality and data-protection commitments — this section will be updated once that tooling is live.
How long we keep it
- Future Positioning Read submissions: deleted after 90 days if we don't end up working together.
- General contact-form inquiries: kept as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and for our own business records, then deleted or anonymized.
- If a paid engagement begins, information relevant to it is kept for the duration of the relationship and as required by Dutch tax/administrative retention rules (typically 7 years for financial records).
Cookies
hydra-futures.com uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are visited and whether the Future Positioning Read gets completed. GA4 sets cookies only after you accept them via the cookie banner shown when you first visit; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set and your visit isn't tracked. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site.
Where your data is processed
Our hosting/form-processing provider (Netlify) and Google Analytics may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place, as required under GDPR.
Your rights
Under the GDPR/AVG, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@hydra-futures.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Children
Our services are directed at business professionals and organizations, not children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on hydra-futures.com applies.
